Two men charged in residential care assault probe
GoogleTwo men have been charged by police investigating allegations of assault at a residential facility for young people with special educational needs.
Stephen Ndukwe, 31, and Olawale Ishola, 36, have been charged with common assault over the offences relating to Acacia Hall in Friesthorpe, near Market Rasen.
Ndukwe, of Dixon Street, Lincoln, will appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on 13 August. Ishola, of Florence Street, Lincoln, will appear at the same court on 20 August.
The charge of common assault against Maxwell Aghedo, 41, of Monks Road, Lincoln, has been dropped. The force said he would face no further action.
Lincolnshire Police said two other men had also been arrested in relation to the case. One, aged 31, has been released on bail and the other, aged 40, has been released with no further action.
A 47-year-old woman has been cautioned for common assault and ordered to pay £100 in compensation.
Two other people, aged 38 and 39, have also been arrested on suspicion of common assault and ill treatment and/or wilfully neglecting an individual.
They have been released on police bail as inquiries continue, the force said.
