Man released after attempted murder arrest

A 40-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in north Belfast, has been released on bail.

A man was seriously assaulted inside Eithne House on Duncairn Parade on Monday.

Police have been granted court extensions of 36 hours to question two other men, aged 41 and 32, who were also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

They asked anyone with information to contact them.
