Second arrest after man injured in stabbing
BBCPolice have made a second arrest after a man was seriously injured in a stabbing in Derby.
Derbyshire Police said officers were called to Walbrook Road, Normanton, just before 22:50 BST on Sunday after a report that a man had been attacked. A 40-year-old man found at the scene with stab wounds remains in hospital in a serious condition, the force added.
It said a 29-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and possession with intent to supply cocaine.
This comes after a 24-year-old man was arrested on Monday on suspicion of GBH. The force said both men remained in custody.
Detectives urged members of the public who may have information about the stabbing to contact the force.
