Seven people have been injured - one seriously - in a three-vehicle crash on the A52 in Derbyshire.

Derbyshire Police said it was called to the crash involving a Ford Fiesta, Ford Transit and a Jaguar, on the westbound carriageway near Borrowash, at 19:42 BST on Monday.

Two people were taken to hospital and one remains there on Tuesday with serious injuries, the force added.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, as well as anyone with dashcam footage, is urged to contact police. The road, which was closed in both directions between junctions with the A5111 and the M1, was reopened to traffic on Tuesday morning.
