Motorcyclist dies in two-vehicle crash

A motorcyclist in his 30s has died after a two-vehicle crash on a key A-road, police said.

Wiltshire Police was called to the A4 West Kennet near Avebury at about 19:10 BST on Sunday to a collision involving a Fiat Tipo and a Honda CBR motorbike.

The motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene and his next of kin has been informed. A passenger in the Fiat, a teenage boy, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Officers have urged anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them.
