Teen cyclist seriously hurt after crash with bus

A teenage cyclist has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash involving a bus in Hull, police said.

Officers were called to the collision on Bellfield Avenue at about 21:50 BST on Thursday.

Humberside Police said the bus and the cycle were both reportedly heading southbound towards Salthouse Road before the collision.

The 15-year-old boy remains in hospital. No one else is believed to have suffered any serious injuries, according to police.

The force appealed for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam or CCTV which may help with the investigation into the collision.
