Further arrest in stabbing murder investigation

Another person has been arrested over the death of an 18-year-old man who was stabbed in Coventry.

Michael Ababio, 18, was injured on Broad Street, near Foleshill Library, on 22 February and died the following morning.

A 29-year-old man was arrested at an address in the Hillfields area of the city on Thursday on suspicion of assisting an offender and released on bail, West Midlands Police said.

Four people had so far been charged in connection with Ababio's death, the force said.

Officers are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to come forward.

Information could also be reported anonymously to charity Crimestoppers, a spokesperson added.
