Murder charge after woman dies from head injuries

A man appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman who died at a property in Bracknell.

Natalie Clements, 40, was pronounced dead at the home in Birkdale at about 07:00 BST on Wednesday and a post-mortem examination concluded she died from head injuries.

Matthew Wilkie, 48, of Liscombe, Bracknell, appeared at Reading Magistrates' Court charged with one count of murder.

He was remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Reading Crown Court on Monday.
