Linger on landscapes as summer holidays start

As schools break up for the summer holidays, many families may be opting for a staycation rather than the hassle and expense of travelling abroad.

Fortunately there is no shortage of lovely scenery across north-east England and Cumbria, as our Weather Watchers have proved.

Doesn't it look lovely in the sunshine?
