Summary

High pressure centred over the north Atlantic will bring a generally light to moderate northerly or northeasterly flow to the inshore waters, with settled weather continuing in most areas, although showers or drizzle may develop at times in northeast and later in northwest.

Strong winds warnings are in effect in the following locations:
  • From Cape Wrath to Rattray Head including Orkney
  • Rattray Head to Berwick on Tweed
  • Lough Foyle to Carlingford Lough
  • The Mull of Galloway to Mull of Kintyre including the Firth of Clyde and the North Channel
  • Mull of Kintyre to Ardnamurchan Point
  • The Minch
  • Ardnamurchan Point to Cape Wrath including the Outer Hebrides
