Ireland just don't have the answers at the minute with their defence.

That Joe Schmidt Wallabies' attack is seriously good.

This is closer to the Lions series Australia than the dismal outfit that toured Europe in November and lost by 27 points in Dublin.

They look quick and incisive with ball in hand and have been impressive at the breakdown.

Ireland are in a real fight.

    Australia 10-12 Ireland

Carter Gordon and Sam Prendergast must be taking inspiration from Australia's penalty shootout defeat by Egypt last night.

Neither of them can hit the target.

That's three out of four conversions missed so far.

That was a lovely piece of skill from Ireland! Really innovative.

You'd swear on your life Dan Sheehan was about to lunge for the line but he just flicks the ball with the fingers and Josh Van der Flier punches through the wall and gets the ball down.

Great score. I didn't see it coming.

Australia look so, so comfortable in possession. There's some beautiful handling from the Wallabies.

They're not allowing Ireland to get set and organised. Ireland look like they cannot cope at all.

The referee had a good, old look at that. It was very simple stuff from the five metre lineout.

When the ball slowed up, Cian Prendergast made a really strong carry and he fought to get through. He's not a huge man but he got his body height down and he spun and wriggled and got the ball down. Great stuff.

Stuart McCloskey is such a big, physical player and makes an absolute menace of himself at the breakdown.

Ireland look very composed through the hands. They have their first real attacking opportunity here.
