The Golden Boot is awarded to the player who finishes the tournament with the most goals.

Argentina's Lionel Messi and France's Kylian Mbappé are leading the way with eight goals each.

Norway's Erling Haaland is currently in third place with seven goals, but his World Cup has now come to an end with a defeat against England in the quarter-finals.

Not too far behind are England stars - captain Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham on six goals each.

And France's Ousmane Dembélé has netted five goals so far.
