Focus shifts in search for Welsh golf stars

For the third year in succession, no Welsh golfers have qualified for the Open Championship, which begins at Royal Birkdale on Thursday.

But Wales Golf's Gareth Jenkins is confident Welsh male golfers will soon be teeing up at the biggest golf tournaments in the world.

Darcey Harry, Wales' top female golfer, says that because qualification is so hard, getting more players on the leading men's professional tours is key to greater Welsh representation at the majors.
