Glentoran opened their European campaign with a marginal 2-1 defeat by RFS in the first leg of their Conference League first round qualifier at the Oval.

Debutant Zeno Rossi headed the Glens in front seven minutes before the break before substitute Martins Kigurs levelled for RFS on the stroke of half-time.

Kigurs added a second for the visitors in what proved to be enough to win the first leg with 20 minutes to go with an ambitious strike from 30-yards out.

The two sides will meet again in Latvia for the second leg next Thursday, 16 July.

Hello and welcome to our live text commentary for tonight's European first qualifying round second leg matches.

Glentoran are in action first this evening as they travel to Riga to face RFS, who have a one-goal lead after the first leg at the Oval.

Kick-off at LNK Sporta Parks is 17:30 BST as the teams try to claim a Uefa Conference League second qualifying round spot.

Then, Derry City welcome CSKA Sofia to the Brandywell in Uefa Europa League first round qualifying at 18:30 BST.

Tiernan Lynch's side will have to overcome a one-goal deficit if they are to progress to the next qualifying round.

Linfield also have a slender one-goal margin to turnaround this evening against Nomme Kalju of Estonia.

The sides will meet at Windsor Park (19:45 BST) and the victors will face Premier Division side Shelbourne in the Conference League second qualifying round.
