Numberblocks: Make and Play game
This free Numberblocks game explores the basics of numeracy in a fun and accessible way. Learn to count through colouring-in activities, makes and mini-games.
How to play Numberblocks: Make and Play
Numberblocks: Make and Play helps preschoolers understand the necessary building blocks for maths in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) of learning, so it can be used as a home learning resource or in the classroom.
The game is aimed at 4- to 5-year-olds, but there are elements that younger children can enjoy too. It can be played on either a desktop or mobile device.
In this free game, there are three activities to complete for each Numberblock from One to Ten. As they progress, your little one will develop key skills like hand-eye coordination, number recognition, focus and concentration.
The colouring-in activity
In the colouring-in activity, your kid can draw directly onto the canvas to reveal a picture of each Numberblock in a different setting.
You can encourage them as they work through the pictures, and celebrate together when they complete the challenges.
The make activity
In the make activity, your child gets to build each Numberblock in the form of a jigsaw, before adding their number from one to 10.
You can count along as they go, and encourage them to count with you.
The mini-game activity
Each number from One to Ten also has a mini-game, where your child can catch apples, tap to find characters or even chase slippers.
You can offer tips on how to complete each challenge and share in their success at the end.
What is Numberblocks?
