Balker signs contract extension with Huddersfield

Defender Radinio Balker has agreed a contract extension to keep him at Huddersfield Town until 2028.
Suriname international Balker signed a three-and-a-half-year agreement when he joined Huddersfield from Dutch club FC Groningen in January 2024.
Balker, 27, had his best campaign for the Terriers last season and head coach Martin Drury hailed the centre-half's new deal.
He told the club website, external: "He's a well-liked character in the group by both staff and players and his performances last season filled me with confidence that given the right support, we can continue to see him improve moving forward."
