Bells on Sunday comes from the Church of St Chad in Pattingham, Staffordshire. In 1724 there were six bells cast by the Joseph Smith Founder of Edgbaston with two further bells added in 1864 by the Mears foundry of Whitechapel, London. The Tenor bell weighs twelve and three quarter hundredweight and is tuned to the note of F. We hear them ringing Superlative Surprise Major.
