New monkey species found in DRC forest
Scientists have confirmed the discovery of a new species of monkey.
Researchers working in the forests of the Democratic Republic of Congo say they’ve confirmed the existence of a new species of monkey. The scientists went in search of the orange-lipped primate using a blurry photograph taken in 2008. Our science correspondent explains how the species was discovered.
