Canada says US criticism of efforts to stop wildfires spreading 'absolutely unacceptable'

The premier of Ontario, Doug Ford, says US criticism of Canada's efforts to stop wildfires spreading in the province are 'absolutely unacceptable'. He said if the situation were reversed, Canada would be supporting its neighbour. More than nine hundred and fifty wildfires are burning across Canada, many out of control.

Also in the programme: The US military has been carrying out more airstrikes against Iran. It says these are partly punishment for Iranian attacks on US troops in Jordan, which killed two Americans; France's new assisted dying plans; and the US exporting Mexican food to Mexico!
