Fire officers return from Venezuela rescue efforts

A group of Leicestershire fire officers have returned from Venezuela where they were part of an international search and rescue operation.

More than 4000 people were killed in a massive earthquake which left parts of the country flattened and tens of thousands of people homeless.

Leicestershire officers Matt Waterer and Mark van Allen are part of UK Fire & Rescue International Search and Rescue (UK ISAR) who travelled to South America. They told BBC Leicester's Chance Litchfield how they were able to help.
