DJ, broadcaster, writer and dreamer Zakia Sewell provides the soundtrack to your dreams - playing music to ease the mind, soothe the soul, and open portals to new dimensions…

This week Zakia reaches for hopeful songs imbued with peace and change, including the inspirational dub sounds of Deadbeat and Paul St Hilaire, mellow trip-hop from Kruder and Dorfmeister, and a love-filled protest song from anaiis. There’s mysterious psychedelia from The Misty Wizards, Italian film soundtracks from Piero Umiliani, and a surprising bit of soul from Cilla Black. Plus new releases from the likes of Sofie Birch, Martin Brugger and Ariella Puma.

We’ll dive into the musical world of Tara Clerkin Trio as they take us down the Portal. Tara, Sunny and Patrick each share a song that transports them somewhere special, as well as reflecting on their new album Somewhere Good and a couple of their dreams.
