Vernon finishes the week with actress Sue Johnston's final two selections in Tracks of My Years, from Paper Dolls and Jim Croce.

Vernon finishes the week with actress Sue Johnston's final two selections in Tracks of My Years, from Paper Dolls and Jim Croce. They also chat about Sue's new BBC comedy, Ann Droid, which starts tonight, as well as discussing what she's proudest about from her career and how she has never been complacent about her work.

Also, there's a final round of Ten to the Top before the weekend, and Vernon finds more fun in the BBC Archive in Vernon's Vault.

Sue Johnston is the star of Brookside, The Royle Family, Waking The Dead, Downton Abbey and many more. Born in Padgate and raised in Warrington, she discovered acting during a school play and left at seventeen determined to become an actor. However, she took a job in a tax office, which is where she discovered Liverpool's iconic Cavern Club and a love of music. She was awarded an OBE in 2009, and made a Freeman of the city of Liverpool in 2024. She will next be seen in the new BBC comedy Ann Droid, created by and co-starring Diane Morgan. Sue plays Sue, a widower whose son Michael buys her a social humanoid robot called Linda (played by Diane Morgan) to look after her - available on BBC iPlayer from today.
